Take a mini road trip with us as we navigate through the 7.4-mile loop at the world-famous Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive located in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The drive features 12 scenic spots which we will show you our favorites along the way. View the fall colors while gazing over the magnificent dunes that bring countless visitors each year.

Lake Michigan Overlook: A short walk from the parking lot at spot #9. The challenge will be the hike down and back on the massive 450 ft. dune that leads you to Lake Michigan. Make sure to bring extra water because you're going to need it.

ABOUT US

Hey everyone! We’re Andrew and Sierra, also known as R&R (Our last names are Russo & Reece). We are an adventurous couple living and traveling around Pure Michigan, national parks, and destinations in the USA! You can find us scoping out the best spots in Michigan, touring local businesses, discovering new food, craft beer, wine, and events in the Great Lakes Region. Although most of our travels are in the Midwest-based on our travel budget restrictions, we explore other parts of the world and plan to share our experiences here as well.

We created Gone Adventures to help other adventurous Midwest travelers who are busy and on a budget to save time and money wherever they go through travel guides, vlogs, articles, and free resources. Our goal is to help you spend less time and money while planning your trip so you can spend more time enjoying your travels.

We will be sharing vlogs frequently, so please SUBSCRIBE to follow along with Gone Adventures! Everyone needs some R&R.
